Geoffrey Zimmerman – Since I was young I have undertaken to share with others my ideas, thoughts, feelings and experiences. I made films, produced plays, wrote and told stories- all in an effort to share myself… my thoughts, feelings and ideas… with others. I have traveled the world. I have sought life’s most powerful experiences:
Alice Stewart - I was raised in the Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia. My father taught me that the smell of the ocean was the smell of “things rotting, and the smell of new life.” He read St. Augustine to me as a child and I was reading The Iliad and Shakespeare’s plays by age 12. But it was my mother’s constant storytelling that really influenced my writing. The slow-paced but intense life of farmers has stood out for me as the most enduring guide in my stories.
