Flash Mob – Valley View Mall Roanoke

Last Saturday saw this happen.

Question –  is it Art or just Marketing?

Looks like a whole load of fun, but I am of the opinion that it is not Art. Let us have your comments below

This looked like a lot of fun do participate in, but I think it was a lot of fun to shoot too.

Flash Mob America, a company based in Los Angeles, came to Roanoke to organize a flash mob, which is a “spontaneous” mass choreographed event in a public place.

This flash mob took place at Valley View Mall on Saturday. Here are a few pictures. Feel free to comment!

Flash mob participants dance to a choreographed number in the food court at Valley View Mall Saturday. Dressed in white t-shirts and tank tops, 200 to 250 people participated in the flash mob that was organized by Flash Mob America, a company based out of Los Angeles.
Viki Quinn of Roanoke County, center, and Liz Mortlock of Roanoke, right, dance to a choreographed number in the food court at Valley View Mall Saturday. “I like to dance,” Mortlock said. “And I like to do things in the community.”
Spectators gathered along the balcony of the second floor of Valley View Mall to watch the flash mob.
